Under Hindu marriage act 1955 bride who is above 18 years of age and groom who is 21 years or above of age can only register wedding within 60 days of performing rituals.
Apart from this, both bride and groom must be in good mental condition when going to be presented before the ADM on appointed date. Certificate will not be given to those who are descendants up to five generations from Father or Mother side.
